About seven km from Madikeri is the Abbi Falls. It was earlier called Jesse Falls after the daughter of Madikeri’s first Chaplain. Surrounded by forests and coffee plantations, it is a nice ride to the falls. It is situated on private property, and is visited by thousands of tourists each week. The waterfall is a collect of several streams that join together before falling down as this cascade.
