Biligiri Rangaswamy Temple Wildlife Sanctuary Karnataka

Biligiri Rangaswamy Temple Wildlife Sanctuary is situated in the Chamarajanagar district. It covers more than 500sq.km. Animals such as elephant, tiger, sloth bear, gaur, barking deer, leopard, and sambar, and more than 200 species of birds are found here. The most commonly found birds are Nilgiri wood pigeon, yellow-throated bulbul, peregrine falcon, Malabar whistling thrush and hawk eagle.
