This stretch of forest is located near Kushalnagar bordering Mysore district. Tributaries of the Cauvery flow through Dubare. There is an elephant training camp. And, one the elephant become old after working years in the jungles, they are moved to the Dubare elephant camp where they are used for elephant safaris.
You can also go boating in the river. There are a hoard of homestays, hotels and resorts in and around the place. Trekking and white water rafting is arranged by them.
