Kadri Manjunath Temple Mangalore

A historic spot, Kadri, attracts lots of religious tourists and visitors. The Kadri Temple dates back to around 1068 A.D. The Lokeshwara bronze statue of the temple is said to be the best bronze statue in the country. The temple stands atop Mangalore’s highest hill. On top of the hill, King Kundavarma Bupendra built a mutt which was later called 'Jogimutt'. There are a few stone caves which are known as the caves of the Pandavas. You can take a bus from the Nehru Maidan Bus Stand which is only 4km away.
