Kurumgad Beach Karnataka

Kurumgad is a tortoise-shaped island which stands at four km from Karwar. One of the main attractions is the famous Narasimha Temple located on the nearby hills. At the temple an annual jatra (religious rally) is held on Pushya Purnima day in January. You can visit the remains of a fort built in the early 1700s.
The beach is a great option to visit if you’re a water sports lover. Trekking, fishing and boating are arranged here. You can visit other small islands close by and also go diving, snorkeling or just relax on the sands.
