Lalbagh Gardens Bangalore

Literally meaning red garden, this place is famous for its bright red roses. This park is more than 90 hectares and was built by Hyder Ali in the late 18th century. Near the southern end of the park, you’ll find the rock on which the ruler Kempe Gowda built a watch tower. And, it’s three billion years old! The garden has variety of plants and trees and some that are centuries old. There’s a glasshouse within the complex where annual flower shows are held. This glasshouse was built on the lines of the Crystal Palace in London.
