Nandi Hills Bangalore

About 60km to the north of Banaglore is this rising set of hills. You can reach Nandi Hills via Devanahalli. It was once Tipu Sultan’s summer retreat. You’ll believe it once you see the breathtaking view. Those who like to trek will have a good time here. There are two temples built in the Chola period.

There are government-owned guesthouses and cottages for tourists to stay. Hotels, too, are available here. The best time to visit is between July and February. From the Bangalore Central Bus stand you can catch a bus to Nandi Hills.
