There are a huge number of things you can shop for in Coorg. Depending on the area you’re in, you can buy anything from coffee to Tibetan prayer beads!
The main items to buy are coffee, spices, honey, pepper, pineapple papads and oranges. If you visit the Tibetan settlement in Kushal Nagar, you can buy handicraft items, shawls, clothes and other Tibetan-made products. Kodava silk saris are very famous and they have a different style of wearing them. The pallu of the sari comes in the front of the wearer, unlike how it’s usually worn in India. Also, Coorgs have their own style of jewellery and accessories.
