Somwarpet is the coffee heartland of Coorg. On your ride, you will see some of the finest coffee estates. There are cardamom and pepper plantations, too. The Basappa Club is a favourite joint for coffee planters and the local families. People come here to enjoy the evening, to play one a game of table tennis or snooker.
