Tipu Sultan's Palace Bangalore

It was initially built by Kempe Gowda in 1537, and later extended by Tipu Sultan. Tipu’s fort here has carved arches in Islamic style. Tipu Sultan’s Palace near the fort is now a museum. The work in stone on the palace was started by Hyder Ali, Tipu’s father and completed by Tipu in 1791. This two-storeyed structure stands adorned with teak pillars, frescoes, arches and balconies along with gardens on both sides that lead to the palace.
