Vidhana Soudha Bangalore

This majestic building houses the Legislative Chambers of the state government. It is the seat of the government in Karnataka. The building has a total of 22 departments and 300 rooms. It is constructed almost entirely of dressed Bangalore granite. Kengal Hanumanthaiah the then chief minister of Mysore constructed the Vidhana Soudha. There are four domes in all the four corners. The main entrance has the four-headed lion, the symbol of Indian sovereignty.
