The Cauvery River has a few spots where you can go white water rafting. The medium-style rapids and curves provide a good test for an average rafter. The Coorg Adventure Club organises white water rafting for novices and trained people. Within the Brahmagiri Hills in south Coorg, is the Upper Barapole River which can get you some adventurous rafting. The best time to take up this sport is between June and September.
